Personal data we process
Automotive Linked processes your personal data when you use our services and when you provide that data to us yourself, for example through the contact form on this website, by email or by phone.
Below is an overview of the personal data we process:
- First and last name
- Company and the role you hold there
- Email address
- Phone number
- Career details that candidates share with us during a search, such as a CV, work history and salary expectations
- Other personal data you actively provide, for example in correspondence and on the phone
- IP address
- Internet browser and device type
Special or sensitive personal data
Our website and our services are not intended to collect data about visitors under the age of 16, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. We cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We advise parents to be involved in their children’s online activities, so that no data about children is collected without parental consent. If you believe we have collected personal data about a minor without that consent, please contact us at info@automotivelinked.com and we will delete it.
Why we process personal data, and on what basis
Automotive Linked processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- To carry out a search assignment and to introduce candidates to a client
- To contact you by phone or email when this is needed to deliver our services
- To inform you about changes to our services
- To handle our administration and invoicing
- To keep this website working and to improve it
The basis for this processing is the performance of an agreement with you, our legitimate interest in running our search practice, or your consent where the law requires it.
Automated decision-making
Automotive Linked does not take decisions with significant consequences for individuals on the basis of automated processing. This concerns decisions taken by computer programs or systems without a person, for example an employee of Automotive Linked, being involved.
How long we keep personal data
Automotive Linked does not keep your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. We apply a retention period of 90 days after the end of the collaboration for personal data held for administrative purposes, unless a longer period is required by law.
Sharing personal data with others
Automotive Linked does not sell your data to third parties. We share it only where this is needed to carry out our agreement with you, or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf we conclude a data processing agreement, so that the same level of security and confidentiality applies. Automotive Linked remains responsible for these processing activities.
For a search assignment this means that we share a candidate’s details with the client only after the candidate has agreed to it.

Viewing, correcting or deleting your data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent you gave for the processing, to object to the processing of your personal data by Automotive Linked, and to data portability. That last right means you can ask us to send the personal data we hold about you, in a computer file, to you or to another organisation you name.
You can send a request to view, correct, delete or transfer your personal data, or to withdraw your consent or object to the processing, to info@automotivelinked.com.
To make sure the request was made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identity document. In that copy, please black out your photo, the MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), the passport number and your citizen service number (BSN), to protect your privacy. We respond as quickly as we can, and within four weeks at the latest.
Automotive Linked would also like to point out that you have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, via this link.

Automotive Linked takes the protection of your data seriously and applies appropriate measures against misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification.
